Worksite Meetings

ACSS' Member Outreach Specialists Charlotte Hoar and Maureen Douglas visit State departments and agencies in the Sacramento and Los Angeles areas to talk about ACSS, the issues affecting ACSS members, and answer questions for potential new members.

For potential members, they present the vast benefits of joining ACSS. Current members get information of news and updates on ACSS' efforts to protect and represent the rights of supervisors, managers, and excluded State employees. Participants of these worksite meetings appreciate the Member Outreach Coordinator's availability to genuinely interact with current and potential members, while listening to concerns and answering their questions about ACSS.

Meet Charlotte, ACSS' Northern California Member Outreach Coordinator!

In April 2014, Charlotte Hoar joined the ACSS team as our new Northern California Member Outreach Coordinator. She has been an integral part of ACSS by reaching out to ACSS members and potential members in person in her "Lunch and Learn" series of worksite visits. At least once per week, she visits various state agencies and invites managers, supervisors and excluded employees to join her for a free lunch and casual discussion.
