Congratulations on your recent promotion to a supervisor, manager or confidential position with the State of California! It is, without question, a pivotal move in your career as a civil servant. While you are getting adjusted to your new role, it is important for you to learn about your rights and protections as an excluded employee.
ACSS is offering New Excluded Employee Orientation Sessions (NEEOs) to new supervisors, managers and confidential state employees - or any excluded employee who would like to learn more. All sessions will be conducted remotely through Zoom.
Each session will cover a wide range of topics including probation, grievances, your representational rights and much more!

Please only register for ONE session. Content in all sessions is identical.
