About Acss

The Association of California State Supervisors is the largest and most experienced organization in California fighting for better careers and compensation for state supervisors, managers, and confidential employees.

ACSS is an association led by excluded employees just like YOU! Our Board of Directors are ACSS members that have stepped up to take on a leadership role within the Association, in addition to their full time State jobs. The Executive Board consists of select Board members who oversee the high level of operations within the association.

ACSS is comprised of 11 Chapters across the state. Each Chapter is governed by a Chapter President, Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer and holds quarterly meetings.

Our Impact

What other people are saying about being a member

Our Impact - Nye

"I turned to ACSS for help. My classification was facing salary compaction. ACSS fought for and resolved the compaction with my department to make my salary fair and equitable again. By going through this process with ACSS, not only did my issue get resolved but I was able to help all of my fellow excluded employees affected by compaction in that classification. Take advangage of the expertise of the ACSS Labor Relations Representatives. It is well worth the affordable membership dues. "
