Last month the Employment Development Department (EDD) announced their intent to sell two San Francisco parking lots to help fund the Unemployment Insurance (UI) program.
The lots were added to AB 2174 - a bill that would allow the state to sell off specified properties to recoup funds - at the end of March.
Should AB 2174 pass and be signed into law, two EDD-owned parking lots in San Francisco (located at Franklin/Golden Gate Avenue and Turk Street) will be listed and sold.
If these sales will impact you or your employees, please contact ACSS Senior Labor Relations Representative Nellie D. Lynn immediately at nlynn@calcsea.org
