Two experienced attorneys have joined the ACSS staff to help the representation program!
Zee Syed started working for ACSS in July 2017 and represents members in the City of Sacramento and central California. A licensed California attorney, Zee received her law degree from University of San Francisco, School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She brings a wealth of experience to ACSS from her prior practice representing and advising, public and private sector employers, on a wide variety of workplace issues. Zee is a member of the Labor and Employment section of the State Bar of California and the Association of Workplace Investigators. Dianne Schaumburg started working for ACSS in July 2017 and represents members in Sacramento County (excluding the City of Sacramento) and northeastern California. A licensed California attorney, Dianne received her law degree from U.C. Davis School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from San Jose State University. She brings a wealth of experience to ACSS from her prior practice representing and advising State, local and University of California employees on a wide variety of workplace issues. Dianne is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the California State Bar, the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI).
