ACSS has officially endorsed Jose Solorio (at left with ACSS President Arlene Espinoza) for Senate District 34.
Mr. Solorio, a former California Assemblymember and current Rancho Santiago Community College Trustee, recently addressed a packed room at the ACSS Q3 board meeting in Costa Mesa.
As the next senator for District 34, Mr. Solorio has pledged to work with ACSS to correct the State's longstanding neglect of its supervisors, managers, and confidential employees.
The newly redrawn District 34 includes all or parts of the communities of Anaheim, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Westminster.
