Nominating yourself as a Chapter Officer or as a Delegate is a great way to get involved and become a part of positive change.

- Do you want to help make ACSS a better organization?
If you have never been involved with the leadership of an association, a great place to start is to become a Delegate. Delegates have the unique experience to attend and participate in all the events and opportunities at Delegate Assembly. Many Delegates go on to become even more involved with the organization and with their own Chapter Leadership. Once you have familiarized yourself with the process of ACSS Leadership, many opportunities for advancement can open up for you.

Open Chapter Officer Positions:
- Chapter President
- Chapter Vice President
- Secretary/Treasurer
- Delegate
You may nominate yourself or someone else for one or more of these positions at this meeting. ACSS staff and your fellow Chapter Officers will help train you. Chapter leadership positions require only minimal time and travel.

- Attend your local Chapter's Open Nominations Meeting*. See our Events Calendar for Meeting dates
- Fill out a Candidate Consent Form between December 1, 2023 and January 31, 2024**
Members are allowed to nominate themselves for more than one position. If you would like to nominate yourself for more than one position, you must fill out a Candidate Consent Form for EACH position.
*Attendance at your Chapter's Open Nominations Meeting is not required for nomination submission.
**Completing a Candidate Consent Form is REQUIRED for valid nomination. Candidate Consent Forms submitted after January 31, 2024 at 5pm will not be accepted.
This opportunity only occurs once every three years.
